Governor Wangamati should resign instead of using BABENYAMBI to try scare the Oversight wing of govt.

The two CECs who have enough audit queries on their heads took to social media to express their frustrations following the change-of-guard at the assembly and indications that the Executive will be next on the chopping list.

CEC Health & Sanitation Mr Antony Walela and CEC Agriculture & Livestock Mr. Makanda Wakoli Mathews yesterday in their usual style of releasing office-stress took to social media to address their boss and subsequently MCAs who are pro-changes in the assembly as well as the Ford Kenya party leader indirectly.

Here are their posts:

My thoughts;

It is obvious that the governor has just discovered that he can’t outsmart Senator Moses Masika Wetangula and the pro-oversight MCAs as he initially thought and has therefore chosen to use SCARE-TACTICS in the name of ’Dissolution of the county’. MCAs now want to take the battle to the Executive’s doors starting next week…. Lets see who blinks first

Health;

With #Covid-19 pandemic KILLING us daily… The Health CEC feels comfortable dragging the county into early Elections instead of striving to improve such facilities as Kambini Dispensary to help us curb Coronavirus spread and other diseases…. PHOTO POSTED; 17-10-2019

Agriculture;

One would imagine the CEC Agriculture should have prioritised food security after floods and #COVID-19 wreak havoc in the county as opposed to sitting in his office thinking about elections. How about call the media and inform them on the Ministry’s plans?

Having exhibited signs of failure… I therefore wish to ask the governor to resign instead of sending his Babenyambi (CECs) to test waters by purporting to address him/public on social media when the county has boardrooms/offices for the executives to handle their issues… It would be interesting to see Wangamati resign and/or step aside pending investigations, arrest, prosecution and possible jailed for Economic crimes committed by himself and his cronies CECs included

If Wangamati is not willing to resign then let him avoid fruitless scare-tactics in favour of development, corruption-free agenda… Otherwise, the law will catch up with for any crimes committed
