A historic instrument of INTERNAL COLONIZATION has just been launched and the people of Kenya look like they are in a thick haze. Who will save us?
I propose that Kenya should have a 26 year (cycle) moratorium on constitutional change. This will allow at least a full generational transition to frame any reasonable adjustment to our extremely valuable Constitution of Kenya 2010.
BBI may have its fine content, but it is a Hazardous Trojan Horse. Failure to engage thoroughly with BBI opens gates for anybody in future to completely destroy the backbone of Constitution 2010… Elements of power structure in the BBI have been introduced to reverse the gains of the CoK 2010 which, I suggest, should have waited for a generation. Negative changes are being made by elements that opposed the new constitution, hiding opportunistically behind (inside) the elegant Trojan Horse of building bridges.
What, for instance, will stop the next “loser” at Presidential Elections from demanding a “handshake” with the “winner”, and to craft a BBI MkII to expunge Chapter 6 from Constitution 2010?
If YOU feel helpless about influencing the choice of top political leadership of Kenya now and in future then there is a diabolic dark colonial cloud hovering above you. What will you tell your great-grandchildren who will be born in bondage?
