On Saturday, 10 April 2021 I #eDDUHSimiyu the leader of #iKUWEiKUWE Movement had a fruitful chat with the proprietor to Club Siilk Mr. Stephen Simiyu popularly known as STEVE SONKO on the possibility of getting a sponsorship for several members. A chat that resulted in us agreeing to have 10 #iKUWEiKUWE members benefit.

On Sunday, 11 April 2021 I made an announcement to that effect after widely consulting the iKUWEiKUWE Welfare Committee (iWC) and #iKUWEiKUWE WatchTower (iWT)…
 From the 41 applicants, the iWC led by Edger Kisala did a thorough job that saw some otherwise deserving cases loose out for failure to meet simple requirements as subscribing to #iKUWEiKUWE YouTube channel; http://www.youtube.com/channel/UCgmf67eZxOg7ftllC7pnbWg
Others lost out coz we also needed to empower #iKUWEiKUWE Movement’s staunch supporters as we did the ever tricky regional and gender balance.
We got applications from as far as Butere with 10 out of the total applicants being female
