The High Court of the Republic of Kenya has today ruled in favour of the legitimate leadership of FORD-Kenya led by Hon. Senator. Moses Wetangula. The court ruling reaffirmed what we have told Kenyans time without number; party coups have no place in a democratic Kenya.
The ruling thus paves way for the loyal members of the vanguard party to oragnise themselves to take a leading role in the momentous political events and activities of the next two years as we head towards the 2022 general elections.
The grand march to statehouse that was enunciated by our founding fathers is still on. We urge all genuine and committed party members to join us in intensifying our struggle for a more just and equitable Kenya guided by democracy,unity and justice.
I spare a few words for those who may have been misled by the political auctioneers who had tried to hijack our beloved party; please come back, we are ready to accommodate those who were genuinely misled by the coup plotting cabal. To the coup plotters however, the disciplinary organs of the party have pronounced themselves with finality and what remains is strict adherence to their determination.
We once again congratulate the judiciary on its leading role in safeguarding party democracy and constitutional order.
