Butere electrification in progress

Electricity connection in Butere (Ituti sub location,West Marama ward and Shikunga sub location,Marenyo/Shianda Ward.)

The Butere Constituency development office in conjunction with the office of Renewable Energy & Rural Electrification Corporation (REREC) and Kenya Power Company resumed the connection of power lines to Butere residents.

Below are the poles ,Wires and additional material delivered in Ituti sublocation,West Marama ward and Shikunga Sub location,Marenyo/Shianda Ward.This material, will aide in connections of 768homes and 11churches to be connected to the national grid.

This project/program will enhance security(Reduced robbery at night.), reduce theft of livestock at night and nevertheless make Butere a modern well lit Constituency.
