The Hellen Nangekhe Kibanani’s body or Manageress as Gateway fraternity used to call her left Lugulu morgue on Friday, 23rd Oct 2020 for her Khaoya village home in preparation for Saturday, 24th Oct 2020 burial but not before it made a religious stop-over at Christ the King Cathedral – Bungoma where a requiem mass officiated by Father Christopher Wanyonyi was conducted
EARLIER the presence of the Deputy governor at the Church way ahead of the body’s arrival left people talking… Rumors had it that the family had not allowed the DG to participate in the collection of her body but #iKUWEiKUWE is reliably informed that indeed the DG was at Lugulu earlier in the day to pay bills before he proceeded to Catholic Church to wait for the body according to Tachoni customs
Father Wanyonyi thru his opening remarks and preaching send a stern warning to family and mourners that he’d NOT entertain nonsense at the funeral and certainly not at the church…
The body was later escorted home
