High Court sitting in Nairobi has stopped the leasing of Nzoia sugar company due to lack of stakeholders’ involvement and lack of clarity on the the tendering.

Justice Chacha Mwita gave the orders following an application for urgency by Zachariah Barasa’s team thru Mr. Martin Nyongesa who sort to stop govt’s plans even as Bungoma Bungoma Governor Ken Lusaka schedules to meet Nzoia Sugar Company officials, County executives and Nzoia stakeholders tomorrow Thursday 15th Feb 2024.
