Former Bungoma Deputy Governor Prof. Charles Kibanani Ngome today morning had his former landlord Stephen Fedha Wangusi and his wife Mrs. Christine Muyaka Wangusi a Matungu Constituency NG-CDF Manager arrested and arraigned in a Bungoma court. He accuses them of obtaining cash thru false pretense followed by unlawfully auctioning him out of a house in Webuye on Thursday 5th Jan 2023 when he was in the process of buying the house.
The court in its determination slapped the two with with a one million cash bail each and a surety of two million shillings each. The Hearing od the case will officially start on 11th May 2023
The two were picked up by Police on 1st March 1, 2023 and arraigned in a Bungoma Court with fraud charges where the Court lapped them with a one million cash bail each and a surety of two million shillings each. They were accused of obtaining cash through false pretense after which they thru Dimonde Agencies and Auctioneers auctioned Prof. despite the fact that Prof was in the process of buying the house.
The couple paid and were set free by end of day
