STATEMENT TO THE LOVING PEOPLE OF MT. ELGON.
My good people, we started this journey together. You kept holding me through prayers, moral support and alot of sacrifices.
You woke up early on Tuesday 19th to vote for me. Indeed, you did it wholeheartedly to ensure that we capture this seat through UDA ticket. You can bare witness, it’s no doubt the ticket was ours but you saw what transpired. Our opponent through his normal murky tricks doctored our victory.
My legal team pursued the issue with the party and a ruling was made, which to me and you it was not convincing. All parameters of dispute resolution was not considered. Officials kept citing time factor.
Good people, we can not let him continue misleading us. We can not remain in an undeveloped constituency just because of a Party ticket. We just have to make a choice, and the choice is change and Development. I come before you, that I will be on the ballot come 9th August as an Independent Candidate. I pray that you continue supporting me as you have always done. I promise to continue being your true servant.
