The former Kanduyi MP who was recently appointed by Uhuru to the Intergovernmental committee straight from Lake Victoria North Water Works Development Agency was today hosted by Sulwe FM radio where he touched on several issues as partains Luhya politics and development. He was interviewed by presenter Levy Khayota
Here are his responses to concerns raised;
- Waluke’s Jail Sentence; I have no sympathy, Waluke conned me 1.3 million, insulted and promised me a beating after I asked for my refund. He also conned Hon. Lawrence Sifuna (Former Bumula MP). Let him be jailed
- Musalia’s political traits; Musalia Mudavadi was assisted by among others CS Eugene Wamalwa. He betrayed him for a coalition with others who promised him money in vain. He once claimed to have done wide consultations but upon inquiring my fellow MPs, all 32 of us from the Luhya community denied being consulted. That’s why most Luhya leaders did not support his bid
- Nzoia Sugar failures and solutions; We appreciate the National government writing off the company’s debt… But we need to change the leadership to achieve better results. He singles out Wamang’oli as being one of those to be shown the door for running down Nzoia Outgrowers Company (NOCO)
- Wetangula; Must learn to forgive and forget giving Raila’s example after he was detained by Moi but still worked with him as well as Uhuru who has been his political rival for long
- Advice to Luhyas on development; Lets allow CS Eugene Wamalwa (being the only Luhya CS in the Uhuru’s cabinet) and Kakamega Governor Wycliffe Oparanya (Council of Governors Chairman) to lead us in our development agenda.
- Anti-Development Luhyas; Kanduyi MP, Hon. Wamunyinyi and his goons chased Lake Victoria North Water Works Development Agency’s board members away while on a project supervision tour at Makutano area in Bungoma while the same board was received and hosted by respective governors and other leaders in the remaining 7 Counties. Not even the Governor, DG and/or CEC/CO Water showed up in the Bungoma visit.
