Bungoma South Covid-19 team, a combination of the office of the DCC and that of Kanduyi MP, Hon. Wafula Wamunyinyi distributed bags of maize and beans to Bukembe and Sang’alo location residents. This entailed 252 households benefiting in Bukembe East at Sudi chief’s office distribution-point and Bukembe West at Namirembe Polytechnic distribution-point… 288 households benefiting at Sang’alo
A total of Over 580 households benefited; 240 bags of maize and 150 bags of beans
Led by the Bungoma South Covid-19 committee chair, Bishop Calistus Barasa, CDF chair Kalabai and respective ACCS… the team emphasized on implementation of the Covid-19 guidelines while encouraging the public to report any individuals who may have come in from other areas without being tested or self isolation (quarantine). On his part Mr. kalabai confirmed that the office of the member of parliament will be on standby to assist in case of an emergencies.
