MOTHER COMMITS SUICIDE OVER TEXT

A seven-year-old class two boy narrates how his mother duped them (3kids) into leaving their home only for them to be thrown into river Nzoia in a suicide mission following a disagreement with her husband over a text message. Winnie throw herself into the river after tossing her two kids first. The she jumped into the waters with the youngest of them all tied on her back.

One of the two boys managed to rescue himself by swimming to the river bank. His mother and other siblings are yet to be found

Her sister Alice Magoma says Winnie had some issues concerning an SMS she had received and wasn’t ready to explain to her inquisitive husband. A meeting held at Alice’s place earlier in the day did not resolve the issue forcing the husband to walk away empty handed after he had paid Alice (who had hosted Winnie for week) a visit with a view of taking home his wife

The incident took place at Luyeshe village, Sirakaru sub-location
