Burundi has today buried former President Pierre Nkurunziza who died 2 weeks ago of heart-attack at 55. President Uhuru was represented by Ken Obura who was airlifted by Kenya Airforce and was received by Ambassador Ken Visitia and Sir Martin S. Khaemba at Bunjumbura City
Uhuru had earlier condoled with the family saying “…Death has robbed East Africa of a prominent leader whose contribution to the integration and progress of the region shall be sorely missed… it’s a big loss to EAC”
