Sirisia MP John Waluke and his Co-accussed Grace Wakhungu’s have been found guilty in Kshs. 267 million NCPB scam and remanded pending their sentencing on June 25
The trial magistrate Elizabeth Juma ruled that prosecution had proved its case beyond reasonable doubt.
Points to note;
- The seat can only be declared vacant if the MP is sentenced to jail for more than six months
- The Thursday, June 25, 2020 sentence will be subject to a right of appeal
