WAMALWA FLAGS OFF RELIEF FOOD AT KAKAMEGA AIRSTRIP
Devolution CS Eugene Wamalwa this morning landed in Kakamega airstrip with goodies for Kakamega residents. Accompanied by Hon. Noah Wekesa and Hon. Gumo among other dignitaries, Wamalwa was welcomed by Kakamega Governor Wycliffe Oparanya and a host of MCAs, provincial administration and Kakamega county officials
He flagged off the relief food before briefly addressing members of the public at Kakamega airstrip. In his speech the CS;
- Asked the Kabras and Nandi to stop fighting and maintain peace. He pledged to reach out the relevant leaders to chat a way forward
- Encouraged the people of kakamega to support BBI and the handshake
- Appreciated Luhya’s for trusting and appointing him and others to lead the way on behalf of the community
