In a statement sent to #iKUWEiKUWE Updates… The Nandalwe Foundation (NF) CEO Moses Nandalwe protested against news aired by a local radio station terming it as cheap propaganda.
In part the protest letter reads…
“NO ONE HAS EVER DEFECTED FROM NF; NF CEO PROTESTS AGAINST THE NEWS AIRED BY XAVIER OGGANYA OF SULWE FM AND TERMS IT AS CHEAP PROPAGANDA.
As other constituencies enjoy development in all spheres, Sirisia constituency continues to wallow in the miasma of abject poverty.
The current leadership has failed to develop the area to the standard of other neighbouring constituencies like Kimilili. In place of development it has come out to fight Nandalwe Foundation that has really improved the lives of people.
NF would like to urge our listeners to ignore news by one Xavier Okanya of Sulwe FM who has been bribed to broadcast lies on Sulwe FM.
Its disturbing to note that when other journalists are trying to grow their careers on radio, one of them is turning a renown radio station into a propaganda platform for desperate leaders hence reducing its credibility.
It should be on record that the journalist has been recording unknown people with fake identities in the pretext that they work for NF.
This is a criminal offence of forgery against the penal code chapter 63 laws of Kenya.
The NF chief executive officer Hon.Moses Nandalwe has already instructed its attorneys to write a protest letter to royal media Services officer SK Macharia and consequently seek legal redress on the matter.
We ask our supporters to ignore such news from Xavier Okanya and remain focused on the ball. The person who will win elections in Sirisia constituency-2022 is that who has initiated development not a propagandist.
NF family therefore calls upon the current leaders to focus on developing the Constituency in terms of Infrastructure,Education, Security, Creation of job opportunities to young generation ,Youth and women empowerment instead of fighting NF through media and cheap propaganda.
Thank you all”
