Real Madrid moves from Santiago Bernabeu to Alfredo Di Stefano stadium

Real Madrid will not play at the Santiago bernabeu stadium when la Liga returns later this month.

The club president florentino perez confirmed the decision on Monday, saying vyhe club will play their remaining home matches at the Alfredo Di Stefano stadium at their valdebebas training centre.

“We have made the decision to play all the home team matches at the Alfredo Di Stefano in our stadium in Ciudad,” Perez wrote in a letter to real Madrid supporters.
“This decision will allow us to advance in the works of the Santiago bernabeu stadium.”
The Alfredo Di Stefano stadium has 6000 seats and usually hosts the club’s youth team home matches.
Work is now underway to install new floodlights, advertising space and the V.A.R technology ahead of la Liga return.
The Bernabeu stadium renovations will see a number of modern updates to the ground including va retractable roof and a retractable pitch for when the stadium hosts events such as concerts.
Those works are planned to finish in 2022 though this decision could see the date brought forward
