As Kenyans put their best feet forward in fight against #Covid-19 and floods… Several leaders have come forth to cushion their constituents from the harsh living conditions. Kimilili MP, Hon. Didmus Barasa nevertheless pulled a first one by reminding his people that he will go an extra mile to uplift their lives by literary climbing onto a house his construction workers / carpenters were putting up for an affected needy family just to lend a hand and perhaps to exhibit his carpentry skills
Having already visited Namakhele and Sulwe villages with such donations, the outspoken MP continues to prove that one can be full of both talk and actions at the same time as exhibited on 25.05.2020 by donating more foodstuffs to the vulnerable families at Mwangale Primary School as he continued with the rebuilding exercise.
Upon completion of rebuilding the legislator promises Kshs. 15,000/= for stabilization purposes to the affected homes only.

Taking to social media, the MP wrote;
I have today distributed food to families that had been displaced by heavy rains.The heavy rains experienced in the area led to submergence of their houses and are now seeking refuge at Mwangale primary school.
I called upon those living in flood prone areas to move to safer places to avert further damage. I will continue monitoring the situation for more support.#KimililiPeopleFirst
