The recent heavy rains made most roads almost impassible in the country and Kimilili MP, Hon Didmus Barasa cognisant of this fact has moved with speed to commence upgradingĀ roads that are in bad shape.
Phase one:
- Grading from Rashid junction to Chebukwabi mkt
- gravelling and compaction from Rashid to Siuna River
Phase two:
- Gravelling and compaction from Siuna river to Chebukwabi mkt.
Maintenance of Rashid~Chebukwabi road almost complete.
The whole work process will be completed in the next one week to enhance efficiency in transportation for the residents.
