Bungoma County Assembly House Business Committee has today Tuesday, May 19, 2020 allotted time on Wednesday’s (May 20, 2020) order paper a ‘no confidence’ motion on the Deputy Speaker Hon. Chrispinus Wamusai Simiyu.
Hon. Wamusai is yet another leader of the house who has been identified by his colleagues as being a sympathiser of the County govt at the expense of his constitutional mandate. The Siboti MCA is also accused of being an accomplice in a scheme by the executive to dupe honourable members of the county assembly into taking money that is now an audit query. He failed to protect the assembly against the executive and by extension police harassment.
