EACC SUMMONS MCAs OVER THE COVID-19 FUNDS
On 18:04:2020 over 2 million of what was said to be “WHO” funds was shared among 54 MCAs (50k for each elected and 30k for each nominated MCA)
EACC has summoned all the 60 MCAs to its Bungoma branch offices on Tuesday in batches of 12 starting with the clerk
The 6 MCAs who REFUSED to collect these funds but have been summoned to explain what advised their refusal are:
- Hon. Juma Nyongesa – Tuuti/Marakaru
- Hon. Majimbo Okumu – Khalaba
- Hon. Magudah Moses – Township
- Hon. Tony Barasa – Lwandanyi
- Hon. Jack Wambulwa – Kimaeti
- Hon. Chemion – Kaptama
An employee of the county assembly who contacted #iKUWEiKUWE Updates claims there exists huge tension that has resulted from blame games on the MCAs forum. MCAs blame the Majority leader Florence Wekesa, and Deputy Speaker Hon Wamusai who were used to collect the money from the executive and subsequently dished it out while duping members of their source.
The interrogations will start on Tuesday 12th May 2020… They will appear in batches of 12 MCAs at a time.
⛔#iKUWEiKUWE also contacted the speaker of the assembly Hon. Emmanuel Situma to know if he had been summoned. He said… “Those who have been summoned are the ones that SIGNED for the money… I did not and I’ve therefore NOT been summoned”

? As I said it before MCAs are fixed… They’ll embarrass themselves at EACC if they try blaming Wangamati, Florence, Situma or Wamusai… Its all politics and has use own brains to survive:
