PARTISAN POLICING: An OBSTACLE to HUMAN RIGHTS and DEMOCRACY in BUNGOMA COUNTY
The police REPEATEDLY characterise government CRITICS as ‘agents of insults’ or ‘enemies of the County Govt’… phrases that they have BORROWED from County Government sympathisers/supporters who have FAILED to COUNTER our CRITICISM with FACTS but instead choose to unleash VIOLENCE which routinely VIOLATES our RIGHTS… Violence the police DON’T seem keen to remain NEUTRAL while interrogating.
BIASED POLICING further POLARIS society and HEIGHTENS INSECURITY and POLITICAL TENSIONS.
Governor Wangamati’s Executive goons as I’d like to call them… Have devised ways of duping critics into VIOLENT traps:
▪️Kidnapping
▪️ One would use some unusually friendly words to invite a critic in the name of taking tea/lunch of just a meeting
▪️Off late ladies have been used to lure critics into such traps.
I’d wish to highlight several cases that the COUNTY GOVERNMENT and therefore the POLICE have been ADVERSELY mentioned by victims:
⛔ KAUNDA MAKOKHA (See photo)- :
? KIDNAPPED/ASSAULTED/DUMPED IN A FOREST.
▪️Kidnapped while riding on a bodaboda in Kimilili between Matili and Bahai.
▪️A white Prado blocked them,
2 built (wanono) and one slim guy alighted… SLAPPED the rider asking him why he transports thugs before chasing him.
▪️ They BUNDLED him into the white Prado, beat him all the way.
▪️He was later DUMPED in a forest @Mt Elgon… UNCONSCIOUS
▪️Discovered and taken to hospital by good Samaritans
▪️Treated at Kapsokwony hospital and allowed to go home.
▪️ Reported at KIMILILI police OB30/10/04/2020 At 1352Hrs
▪️ NOTHING DONE SO FAR

▪️ A White Prado KCN 600N was used in the failed Kidnap case that happened at his home located at Mihuu ward, Chetambe location, Mitukuyu village
▪️ Reported at Webuye police station… OB05/22/05/2019
▪️ A Webuye CID officer later handed Kaunda a letter addressed to Lukusi AP camp boss authorizing arrests
▪️ NOTHING HAS HAPPENED

⛔ EMMANUEL SITATI aka Saito
▪️ He was INVITED into a meeting by Mercy, a lady who claimed to be interested in partnering on matters “politics”
▪️Met her at Northrift Webuye @Wa-Dina on Monday (same day Levy was assaulted at Wangamati’s office)
▪️She then claimed to have forgotten something at home
▪️Their walk to her “home” was actually right into the planned trap.
▪️He was ASSAULTED by people who ACCUSED him of dating someone’s wife… AND INSULTING THE GOVERNOR
▪️His head was hit using a brick before all disappeared in thin air…
▪️Suprisingly even BEFORE they themselves informed the public about the incident one sympathiser of the governor and therefore a communications person to one partisan employees was already inquiring about Saito’s well being on Webuye Yetu WhatsApp group.
▪️He later DELETED the comments after ENRAGED members PINNED him to explain what advised his otherwise “PREMEDITATED” comments as members insisted that he declares his involvement.

⛔ Edwin Nabalia:
▪️ Governor Wangamati’s political advisor who is also an uncle to Peter visited his SIKALAME home (nzoia) accompanied by two GOVERNOR’S own BODYGUARDS… Supposedly to “WARN” the youthful leader against criticising Wangamati
▪️His mistake was releasing an audio that informed Gov. Wangamati that “Enje Embi” meaning things were not well out here. That he won’t make it back come 2022
▪️ When his parents visited MECHIMERU police post to report the incident… They were told to ask Peter who has NOT been around for months to come and report by himself… ??♂️
▪️Peter then tried reporting at the police station near him in Nakuru county but was told to report at SIKALAME instead.
▪️ NO REPORT NOTED AT ANY POLICE SO FAR
⛔ DENNIS MUKATI
▪️ Mukati has SEVERALLY been invited for a meeting by Mutaki, invitations he has rightfully so turned down
▪️Then Simiyu Mutaki in his wisdom calls a CID officer and lodges a VERBAL “complain”…
A “complain” that prompts the police to summon Mukati.
▪️Mukati calls me… I call the CID who upon noticing that I was interested whether a FORMAL report was made… Told me that indeed it had been reported at the OB (this turned out to be a lie)
▪️I then CONTACTED my #iKUWEiKUWE agent at the POLICE ? who informed me that Mutaki had NOT reported ANYTHING this week
▪️Mutaki coincidentally calls me confirming that he had contacted the police officer since he was just eager to meet Mukati but it seemed like he wasn’t honoring invites that’s why he (mutaki) involved police to assist bring Mukati to the table… He nevertheless had NOT reported at the OB (confirming the police lied)
▪️His main concern was this post as shared on many social media forums. A post Mutaki claims is malicious ??

▪️ The forum has witnessed a barrage of THREATS after another since Saturday (see some screenshots)
▪️Today, everyone was removed but 6… This is probably in an effort to DISRUPT the UNITY of the staff who are now in solidarity with their colleague Levy who was BADLY ASSAULTED in the GOVERNOR’S OFFICE.
⛔ NOTICE TO WANGAMATI CRITICS:
?Do NOT heed to invitations from ANYONE you don’t know or you know little about.
?If you MUST honor such invitations… make sure:
▪️ it’s at a public place and more so your comfort zone
▪️Have a backup info on the contact (calls/texts). Send screenshots/audios about the invite to a confidant before you arrive there… This is coz you will most likely loose your phone when the goons strike.
▪️Stick to your comfort zone: Do NOT be LURED into a place (route/corner/building/vehicle) you are not conversant with and/or you have zero security knowledge of.
▪️Have REASONABLE company with you.
▪️Carry a weapon for use if you MUST in defence… Remember you will be at the mercies of GOONS who care for their pay and nothing else.
▪️ AUDIO RECORD EVERYTHING YOU SAY at the POLICE station AND back it up… The police are proving to be easy to CONSPIRE with the county govt on behalf of goons to SPOIL/DILUTE cases.
⛔ CLARIFICATION: I wish to inform the public that the information carried on the screenshot as posted on 04:05:2020 by #iKUWEiKUWE updates was from a CONCERNED County employee… I wish to mention here that Tim Machi has reached out and having had a gentleman’s agreement that I put the record straight?? Levy the ASSAULTED employee has NOT mentioned the name Tim Machi to #iKUWEiKUWE Updates. We wish to have it remain that way UNTIL when he will be IDENTIFIED in a possible police parade that will be conducted to identify Mutaki’s accomplices (if the police will EVER conduct it)
