In an Executive order No.1 of 2020, to enhance service delivery I have today divided the county into two; Upper region which comprise of Nambale, Teso South and Teso North Sub Counties while Lower Region will encompass Matayos, Butula, Samia and Bunyala Sub Counties.
Pursuant to the Constitution of Kenya Article 179(2)(b) and county Government Act Sections 30(2)(d),35(1) and 45(1) I have today appointed seven County Chief Officers and moved Members of County executive committee and County Chief Officers to various departments in similar capacities.
