A bizarre accident involving Dawameds hospital’s emergency van and a bodaboda rider has today Wednesday 26th July 2023 occurred on Sikata – Kimilili road at Sikata primary school. The ambulance was on official duty with its siren on to pick a patient when the unfortunate incident occurred prompted by the deceased’s move to overtake a lorry thus colliding with the ambulance head-on. Mr. David Masika Wakhale did not survive the impact and therefore died on the spot
An attempt by the ambulance driver to assist him bore no fruits
