Following discrepancies and uncertainties witnessed in the recent passed some occasioned by court pronouncements, The County Assembly of Bungoma has moved with speed to put things right by summoning all parties (including taskforces, HR, County Public Service Board (CPSB) and KCGWU) to the table so as to settle the various existing stalemates as well as give direction.
The Kenya County Government Workers Union (KCGWU) therefore has a tough task of producing the said casuals on Monday, 17 April 2023 as directed by the ad-hoc committee for verification. It also facing a petition from Prof. Nyukuri Barasa who indicates that none of the casuals is a member of KCGWU and therefore it has no business representing them.

The various Taskforces are expected to furnish the assembly with documentary evidence that advised their respective reports (recommendations).
