Bungoma governor Ken Lusaka on Tuesday, 2 April 2023 received resignation letters from two Chief Officers: Saphia Awil (Gender) and Phoebe Buchunju (ICT and Record Management. This follows Chief Officer Health Patrick Wandili’s resignation on Monday, 3 April 2023 who cited need for professional growth
Saphia was a few days ago elected to Chair The National officials chief Officers Youth, Gender and Sports caucus.
The three were appointed by the former governor Wycliffe Wangamati and therefore their exit now paves way for Lusaka to appoint new ones.
