Frustrations, uncertainty and unforgiving shame was written all over Kenya Kwanza Alliance (KKA) Bungoma leaders present at Karen yesterday, Tuesday, April 5, 2022 upon realization that their much awaited moment wasn’t going to happen after Senate speaker Ken Lusaka skipped his unveiling as Bungoma Gubernatorial candidate at Karen steps
While announcing UDA’s readiness for primaries, Kimilili MP Hon. Didmus Barasa on Monday, April 4, 2022 indicated that Kenya Kwanza had settled on Senate Speaker Kenneth Makelo Lusaka as the preferred gubernatorial candidate for Bungoma. This ultimately announced that UDA had abandoned its own Zachariah Barasa.
Bungoma Senator Moses Wetang’ula had earlier rallied Ford Kenya leaders; Kabuchai MP Majimbo Kalasinga and Bungoma Women Rep Catherine Wambilianga to report at Karen by 8am for the special occasion as Ruto whipped pro-UDA elected leaders from Bungoma Hons; Mwambu Mabonga, Dan Wanyama, Fred Kapondi and Didmus Barasa to turn up in solidarity with their FK counterparts and help unveil Lusaka.
Trouble began when Lusaka’s phone went unanswered as each of the leaders including Farouk Kibet tried frantically to reach the absentee Lusaka. After hours of waiting and making unsuccessful calls, Ruto and Wetangula were forced to lead the evidently gloomy Bungoma leaders in unveiling Samburu Governor as part of UDA’s campaign team.
My rat informs that Ruto is now rethinking about UDA’s support for Lusaka.

- I once told you that my rats are always right… First I told you Major Waluke will ditch Ruto then I informed you that Lusaka was ordered by Uhuru NOT to accompany or be seen with Ruto anywhere outside Bungoma… Implementing this means; Lusaka is NOT keen on Ruto’s Presidency.
- My kufwela house rat informs; If Lusaka would have shown up at Karen, his official vehicles and security would have been withdrawn on site… and Lusaka knew it.
