WEST POKOT Governor Prof. John Lonyang’apuo on 7 February 2022 held a meeting with Women Peace Forum and Development from Karamoja cluster, Amudat District and West Pokot County. The main agenda was cross-border peace building programme.
“I am glad the borders of West Pokot County and Uganda have enjoyed peace since 2017. This is attributed to our active cross border peace and development programmes which majorly focus on education, infrastructure development, peace building and livestock vaccination”
