During Nicholas Tosana Toywa’s burial ceremony in KAMUKUYWA Ward… A group of about 10-15 hecklers attempted to interrupt Kimilili MP Didmus Barasa’s speech inviting a tongue lashing and a thorough warning from the legislator which scared them off. They kept quiet but were seen cheering Bungoma Deputy governor Prof. Charles Ngome at the top of their voices when he came to issue his speech while insulting Lusaka, Wetangula and Didmus.
Mourners who were not happy with their heckling ways then turned against Ngome who was seen as their facilitator when he started mentioning Senator Wetangula and Senate Speaker Lusaka in bad light. They refused completely to allow him continue with his speech forcing him to cut it short handing over the mic to the area MP Didmus Barasa who calmed mourners before welcoming Ford Kenya party leader Senator Moses Wetangula
The same goons led by Sakwa, are alleged to have followed Lusaka, Didmus and Majimbo to a funeral in Matili area (Sakwa’s relatives) where they employed the same behavior. As leaders were leaving the function, Sakwa was seen disappearing into a maize plantation only to be seen minutes later bruises and torn trouser. His face looking like he has been stung by a?bee.
He was later taken to a Kimilili Hospital by Wafula Wakoli under the instructions of the Senator Moses Wetangula who also bought him new clothes before handing him over to his family members who had joined them at the hospital

Who is Sakwa?
- During the Ford Kenya primaries held on 7.6.2019 Augustine Wanjala Sakwa Omungachi then working as an ICT officer 2 in Wangamati’s government was identified by a Wafula Wakoli led faction as their preferred candidate for the Secretary General’s seat for Kimilili Subcounty. Things nevertheless did not go as planned for the nomination by election turned out to be a selection process where Sakwa wasn’t favoured. The irate Ford Kenya man choosing to ignore the fact that Wangamati was his boss decided to interrupt the county CEO’s speech upon realizing that someone else had been selected in a move that was employed by the party leadership to restore order after the nomination process had been widely disputed by among others Bungoma Women Rep Cathering Wambilianga. “Hii mkutano itakwisha” announced Sakwa as he approached Wangamati who was then addressing the meeting at Zion resort… His fellow County goons and Wangamati’s security annoyed by his untimely protest swiftly dragged him away from the 10th June 2019 meeting in the process his clothes were badly torn as he sustained injuries. He was immediately fired by Wangamati for the disarespect he had displayed at the meeting only to get employed in TransNzoia thanks to Senator Moses Wetangula
- Sakwa was also adversely mentioned in Zachariah Baraza and Moses Lukoye’s attacks at Bukembe AP camp where he is alleged to have thrown pepper into Lukoye’s vehicle with a view of impairing Lukoye’s visual ability. Sakwa was somehow lucky to have escaped being dragged to court as others led by the chief goon called Kituyi were arraigned in Court… the case is still ongoing
- Its therefore to note that the same Sakwa leads goons into heckling Senator Wetangula’s team just because he doesn’t like Kimilili MP and Senate Speaker who were in their backyards where he is a resident. Wetangula assisted him get his current job.

#iKUWEiKUWE Corner:
- #iKUWEiKUWE Condemns this and any other violence that’s facilitated by any government, leader and/or individuals and therefore calls for those involved to be arrested, prosecuted and by extension those who attend funerals with the motive of interfering (heckling) speakers should also be dealt with accordingly.
- I said it: Wangamati and his FERA militia activities would lead this county into anarchy if they were not stopped in good time…
- I also warned that: With the militia terrorizing each FUNERAL, mourners would gradually become wiser on how to handle the governor’s and DG’s presence as leaders would invest in own militias to counter them in equal measure.
- Following Wangamati’s change of tact to only visit funerals at night and donating a section of his goons to his Deputy Prof. Charles Kibanani Ngome during burials ceremonies… The Bungoma Governor has spared himself from constant accusations from the public for sponsoring violence and by extension spoiling/interfering with peaceful functions which has seen some family shy away from having him grace burials for their loved ones.
- This is a clear indication that FERA activities have NOT stopped its activities only that the governor is on leave and the DG is driving the course now… THIS MUST BE STOPPED IN TOTALITY BEFORE THESE LEADERS FIND THEMSELVES SWALLOWING OWN PILLS LIKE NGOME DID
No one has a monopoly of violence.
