A Bodaboda operator has today morning Wednesday, May 19, 2021 been electrocuted as he tried to wash his bike in a roadside pool at Makutano Junction, Kanduyi. The man only identified as a Kibabii University student had gone to wash his bike oblivious of the dangers that awaited him. He obviously did not know how dangerous live wires can be.
The wires had been cut from a pole by a truck yesterday at about 3pm
Braxton, a resident indicates that he called KPLC yesterday informing them of the damaged lines and the dangers they pose but no action was taken.
Bodaboda operators have now barricaded Kanduyi – Malaba road in protest. Police are yet to arrive to arrive
