On Friday, 26 March 2021 Bungoma governor Wycliffe Wangamati’s official vehicle GVN39B was involved in an accident at Ndengelwa as Bungoma governor was being driven home from his day’s work. A Nairobi-bound Northrift (PSV) is alleged to have rammed into the governor’s car as it was overtaking the County 039 CEOs convoy driving uphill from Khalaba River towards Ndengelwa. After overtaking most of the governor’s escort cars and realizing it’d be impossible to overtake all the matatu driver opted to squeeze back onto his lane to avoid a head-on collusion with an oncoming truck. “The move saw the matatu’s rare brush the front bumper of the governor’s car” said a governor’s aide
This immediately attracted Wangamati’s security popularly known as goons to quickly move in an attempt to stop the matatu whose driver by now had realized they were bad guys… He refused to stop fearing the worst but instead opted to head back to Bungoma town in search of a Police Station. The Matatu was chased by two vehicles upto Bungoma town where the two dangerously sandwiched the Northrift on the busy Moi Avenue road with one dangerously driving on the left of the matatu (cyclists’/Motorbike’s lane) as the other was on the lane meant for oncoming vehicles.
Just before they got to the Police station a County vehicle registered 39 CG 009A that was on the left side of the matatu employed a PIT maneuver (pursuit intervention technique) or TVI (tactical vehicle intervention) which a pursuit tactic by which a pursuing car can force a fleeing car to turn sideways abruptly, causing the matatu to lose control crashing into the drainage system… Both vehicles sustained notable bodily damages with the county vehicle’s bumper barely hanging.
The dangerous, illegal, punitive move successful ensured the matatu full of passengers loses control and lands in the terrace before the governor’s security which I prefer calling “County-Militia” jumped out of their vehicles and pounced on the driver pulling him out of the vehicle and administering what they called “justice for governor” since to them the driver wanted to “kill” their governor. They beat the driver senseless breaking his jaw and causing grave bodily harm including eyesight and dental formula.
While “in-operation” as they call it, an unsuspecting rider with his passenger rode by on a bodaboda, a move that landed them on a collusion path with the County-Militia who had now gone haywire attacking anything that moves. One of them slapped the bodaboda rider sending them straight onto the tarmac. While they were still trying to understand what was actually their mistake they were told not to interfere with the operation unless they are part of the scheme to kill the governor. In the fiasco George Mufuke a business man running a Hardware at Bukembe lost Kshs. 410.000 being part of the funds he was going to bank.

Speaking to ikuweikuwe.com George Mufuke adversely mentioned one Chenjeni as being in the team of those who attacked and robbed him of 410k. He has since reported at the police and is therefore expecting justice to be served through the police and/or court.
Speaking on Sulwe fm radio; Chenjeni distanced himself from the allegations saying he was out of the county when the incident occurred.

The County-Militia left the scene with the bumper to vehicle 39 CG 009A hanging loosely.
The two vehicles that chased and dangerously brought the chase to a halt have NEVER been at the police station since the incident occurred while the governor’s car was briefly presented for statement writing and inspection. The occupants of those vehicles have NOT recorded statements in the Ndengelwa incident and/or the chase. The police NEVER bothered to arrest them either

The driver to the vehicle 39 CG 009A that delivered a PIT maneuver with total disregard to the lives of the passengers in the matatu is called Kituyi, a casual employee who earned his position in the governor’s protocol team by successfully proving that he is a warlord. The violence-happy was assigned the duty of driver to a vehicle that has NEVER been given a work ticket, a mandatory document for any government vehicle that leaves for duty. He is also in court over a robbery with violence case in which Zachariah Barasa and human rights activist Moses Lukoye were chased from Bungoma to Bukembe AP camp where they were attacked and robbed the two before the attackers were arrested by the administration police and later charged at Bungoma law courts. I have personally had two encounters with Kituyi and one with Chenjeni;
- In 2019 the day Wangamati was to address the assembly… About 8 County-militia accompanied Amos (DGs security) Mulama (Governors aide) to my office at Railways Park after noticing I was video-recording a COUNTY-SPONSORED counter-demonstration against a Bodaboda chairman who had earlier in the day organized a successful but inconclusive demonstration against governor Wycliffe Wangamati before he was kidnapped only to appear hours later shaken to the core. Two of the about 8 goons riding on the presence of Amo and Mulash displayed their thirst to have a piece of me… A move that I countered by kicking them out of the meeting they had come to have with me for I demanded that I can’t have a discussion with the team if the two goons were in attendance prompting their leaders Amo and Mulash to ask them out of the meeting.
- He once called me on 25th Jan 2021 at 14:36hours after I made a factual article on ikuweikuwe.com about the violent scenes he masterminded at Lugulu… In the phone call he tried to intimidate me by dropping some threats in vain (audio)
- He has also been several adversely mentioned in other plans to assault me the last I heard of was just after we buried the governor’s mother… He was financed by the public administrations office together with others I choose not to mention to trail and assault me.
- Kituyi has 3 violence-related cases now… I will keenly be following this case to know how it goes, will keep you posted.

Apart from his special ability of fighting spiritual wars for the governor from the clouds (witchcraft), Chenjeni is an old man who shouldn’t allow himself to be at scenes of such violent crimes if he indeed respects his age… He was adversely mentioned by his colleagues as having masterminded the writing of unprintables on the modern shoe-stand I had erected at railways park.
- It’s also worth noting that the County Commissioner’s office has over years listed Kituyi, Chenjeni and a few other governor’s aides as persons who engage in violent activities BUT that’s all… NOTHING further is done beyond this making the exercise a kalongolongo… Guys assaulting a driver in front of the police who had arrived at the scene, but the same police allowed the goons to flee the scene leaving behind the matatu driver in pain…
- I nevertheless thank the police for STOPPING the County-Militia from kidnapping the matatu driver after unleashing thorough beating on him.
