Stakeholders of Lutaso Primary School in Webuye West Constituency are a disgruntled lot after the institution was condemned by the Ministry of Public Health as being inhabitable. The sorry state of classes with a collapsed roof dictated the move by the health depart to avert any possible disaster.

The school Management has appealed to the National Government through the NG-CDF  and Well-wishers to come to their rescue and therefore help build new classes and/or improve on the existing ones. Most structures in the Bokoli ward institution need a total overhaul… In the same breathe the a member of the school’s management while speaking to ikuweikuwe.com displays his annoyance with the CDF office accusing it of ignoring their previous warnings and therefore neglecting of the school.

Contacted, the office of the area MP Hon. Dan Wanyama indicated that;

• There exists a new building within the school constructed by CDF in partnership with other stakeholders
• Misappropriation of development funds channeled to schools from CDF
• Like all other schools with wanting structures, CDF is working to upgrade them ASAP

• SURPRISINGLY so, the institution is located in the Ward and therefore neighbors area MP Hon. Dan Wanyama, CDF Chairman, Nominated MCA Hon. Rebah Wabwile and of course area MCA Hon Jack Kawa reside
• The chairperson to the NG-CDF committee in the National Parliament is Hon. Wamunyinyi ~ MP Kanduyi… a neighboring Constituency
• Stakeholders to the institution should not wait for CDF to act… You will count personal loses if and when the worst happens (God forbid) … Choose to use every available means to keep your kids learning in a safe environment as you wait for your leaders to wake up.
