Surviving victim
It all started about 3 weeks ago when one bodaboda rider was attacked @Namanje, stabbed numerous times and left for dead but miraculously survived the attack after he was rescued and taken to hospital. The man was admitted at Bungoma Referral Hospital but recovered only to name one of the three attackers as BOYI… The irate riders then picked BOYI and took him to the victim who positively identified him… BOYI also confessed attacking the rider before he was whisked away to his death by mob justice but not before he named his accomplices

Two weeks later Today TUESDAY 2nd March 2021 the riders who had been investigating on the whereabouts of the other attackers who had gone under, got wind of their surfacing opted to go after them.
The first was picked at Mukwa village while the second was picked from Bukokholo… One after the other they were lynched near an AP’s camp and Namanje bridge respectively. Unconfirmed reports indicate that the third one was lynched at Marakaru area
While taking the law into their own hands the bodaboda riders banned taking of photos/videos. Two members of the public had their phones destroyed after they were seen taking photos.

The rise in motorbike theft is attributed to a businesswoman operating in Bungoma Town who is said to be buying stolen bikes at 30,000/= each. The woman is said to be on the run after the riders started looking for her. #iKUWEiKUWE is yet to get the true identity of the said woman who is said to nowhere to be found.
The bodies of the victims of mob justice were taken to Bungoma County Referral Hospital Morgue
