Mr. Oscar Namusasi Sifuma has today Friday, January 22, 2021 successfully filed an application seeking orders to stop Kenya County Government Workers Union Bungoma County Branch elections, citing irregularities and unprocedural selection of delegates

The elections nevetheless took place today Friday. January 22, 2021 at Mabanga FTC… After the court clerk was chased away (see comments on court order below)

The application dated 22nd Jan 2020 was tabled before Senior Principal Magistrate Hon. C.A.S Mutua – SPM and hearing Counsel Ms Ragina Gideon saw the Court order; THAT there be interim orders of injunction restraining the respondents from conducting elections pending a hearing and determination by the court

According to the order; An interparties hearing shall be held on 4th Feb 2021

The petitioner informs that… All the respondents have been duly served

In a rejoinder; The SG elect, Florian Nganga informs ikuweikuwe.com the order has been overtaken by events… that a Court official arrived to serve the court order way after elections had already been done with he had a chat with labor officials who had officiated the exercise and left.
