MALALAH’S BBI MESSAGE TO UHURU AND RAILA
Kakamega Senator Cleophas Malalah on Saturday, October 31, 2020 told President Uhuru Kenyatta and Raila Odinga that BBI must be subjected to further consultations saying ANC as a party supports BBI but will not support a constitution that will come back to bite the people. He cited the number of additional Constituencies saying of the 70 earmarked for addition, 43 are for central and/or areas they dominate. He also took a swipe at the clause that purposes to reduce the powers of senators among others that should be re-looked into before a referendum
He was speaking at the burial of the late Gilbert Isaac Magore at Munzeywe area, Butsotso Central ward, Kakamega County.
