BUNGOMA COUNTY ASSEMBLY EXTENDS SHUTDOWN AFTER 13 TEST POSITIVE FOR Covid-19

Hon. Emmanuel Situma, the Speaker to the County Assembly of Bungoma has today announced a two-week extension of the Covid-19 shutdown from today Wednesday, October 28, 2020 after 6 MCAs and 7 members of staff tested positive out of the 260 samples tested

Victims and the entire county assembly fraternity have been advised to exercise self-isolation as they adhere to Covid-19 regulations

Speaking to #iKUWEiKUWE Updates, the County Assembly speaker informed that;

…while collecting the results my main concern was the people who work in the assembly with the exclusion of security guards & County executive’s staff… Corona is real; people shouldn’t drop their guard on the set preventive measures
