After consultations with the NHIF COVID RESPONSE TEAM at the head office, Bungoma NHIF branch manager Mr. Peter Chemursoi yesterday, Monday 19th Oct 2020 issued an INTERNAL MEMO to all staff announcing the CLOSURE of the branch for 14 days. This was occasioned by the revelation that one of their staff had tested positive for Covid-19 and was in self isolation. The office will during that time be fumigated by the Public Health under the supervision of Mr. Hillary Magut and the Branch Manager

All staff were asked to proceed to self-isolation as they priorities mandatory tests conducted at Bungoma County Referral Hospital with a second test done after 7 -10 days to confirm status

Only those who’ll test negative after the second test will be allowed back to office on 2nd Nov. 2020
