This is why the Bungoma County Assembly is contemplating an indefinite shut down

Following strong indications that the entire county Executive could be ailing from Covid-19, the County Assembly of Bungoma leadership is contemplating closing down indefinitely for a thorough FUMIGATION of the Assembly premises and mandatory Covid-19 tests for all MCAs and other staff

“We are contemplating on proceeding on an indefinite recess since some of our colleagues have been accompanying Wangamati on his ‘tangatanga’ activities; Joram, Balala, Wamusai, Lusenaka, Millie, Elvis…..”

Speaking to #iKUWEiKUWE an official informs that the leadership is mostly concerned that if the county CEO is indeed Covid-19 positive then the 13 MCAs who hang around him are suspected to be infected already

“We are contemplating on proceeding on an indefinite recess since some of our colleagues have been accompanying Wangamati on his ‘tangatanga’ activities: Joram, Balala, Wamusai, Lusenaka, Millie, Elvis….. Wangamati was with Mulongo and Florence last Sunday before he went into confinement” said an #iKUWEiKUWE source

Still Bungoma County boss has NOT found it fit to inform the public what’s ailing him keeping him confined at his Ndengelwa home for a week now. One of his executives who was mentioned by #iKUWEiKUWE Updates as having tested positive has resorted to threats instead of doing what’s expected of him.

The chief of staff is alleged to have been confirmed positive but has quietly been receiving treatment as an out-patient at a private hospital but yesterday Sunday 11, 2020 he chose to check into Bungoma Referral Hospital where he was briefly admitted before being transferred to Eldoret to a facility #iKUWEiKUWE is yet to know.

Some governor’s staff are too scared to report to work following information that some County executives could have tested positive too but are unwilling to declare it. Neither are they willing to go into confinement despite the fact that they recently held a cabinet meeting that was

Another hotspot is Bungoma Prisons where 107 prisoners out of 110 were last week confirmed to be Covid-19 positive when a mass test was done… The huge numbers are blamed to the transfer of prisoners who had been put in isolation at Webuye hospital and were without precautions returned when one of them escaped the Webuye KMTC confinement. The testing is ongoing and #iKUWEiKUWE will give you more updates with time.

…………………………

?Governor Wangamati must choose to give a Covid-19 state of the County address ASAP, and shut down his offices for fumigation and mandatory Covid-19 tests.

? #iKUWEiKUWE has also learnt that the executive has refused to announcement the sorry state of affairs because they don’t want the County to panic. The executive is also against the closure of the assembly for it will obviously expose what they are hiding.

?#iKUWEiKUWE wishes Governor Wangamati, Chief of staff Chenane and the rest a speedy recovery… You have over 160 million to fight Covid-19, Use it!

?NOTE:

  • #iKUWEiKUWE aint doing such medical publications for anything else but public interest
  • For Public interest let’s make our Covid-19 status known
