NYUKURI TURNING THE HEAT ON THE COUNTY GOVT OF BUNGOMA AS HIGH COURT GRANTS ORDERS

A few days after the tabling of a report by the Public Administration Committee that declared the Nyukuri Barasa’s petition as lacking the threshold to impeach Bungoma Governor Wycliffe Wangamati, #iKUWEiKUWE has today learnt that the governance expert was battling a theft case moved to court to seek varying orders that were granted as follows;

  1. Stop Kibera Court from Charging him
  2. Stop DPP from Charging him
  3. The Respondents and other interested parties to bear the cost of application

Nyukuri had moved to the high court just in time to the beginning of his prosecution at Kibera Law Courts

Nyukuri has 3 OBs for related to the ‘theft’ and/or loss of his bag;

  • 39/7/8/20@11:30 hours… Nyukuri reported threats on his life at Bungoma police station
  • 74/7/8/20 @1840 hours booking… booked at Kilimani police with an unknown OB number
  • 23/11/8/2020@10;30 hours Nairobi West police station – reported loss of his bag

There exists a mystery on who the complainant is after the Clerk distanced himself from reporting any loss of the said document at any police station

Questions;

  1. Going by the obviously ‘cooked’ statement by DCI maseke… Dennis Wasike was found with the bag at Langata petrol station. Why wasn’t he arrested?
  2. If the police wish to have him as a state witness… Why isn’t Dennis wasike part of the witnesses?
  3. There is an unknown OB Number for Kilimani Police Station booked by Peter Orwa and Ezekiel Masake Wanga for Nyukuri… why is the OB number a secret?
  4. Did he run away from Police Station Custody in Nairobi to be in Bungoma County Assembly for Status Conference on 7th August 2020?
  5. Was he arrested in Bungoma County or in Nairobi County Langata Total Petrol Station as alleged in the defective charge sheets?
  6. Why are there discrepancies in the two charge sheets for the same case?
  7. 1st charge sheet; that between May 30th and 7th August 2020 he stole the file from the Public Administration and ICT Committee of Bungoma County Assembly
  8. 2nd Charge sheet; That he stole the same file between 30th July and 3rd August 3rd 2020
  9. The county Assembly is the complainant… Now that the clerk has distanced himself from any report to the police of a missing file… who is the complainant???
