Following his replacement as the parliamentary deputy Minority Whip with Tongaren MP, Hon. David Eseli, Chris wamalwa wrote this…
This afternoon, the NASA Parliamentary group has decided to replace me as the Deputy Minority Whip.
From the Onset I thank the NASA Parliamentary group for electing me to serve in that position for 7 years. It was a great honor and I will be eternally grateful.
I congratulate Hon. Eseli Simiyu on his election. I will always be available in case he needs any counsel or advise.
This rare opportunity has enabled me to play a central role in the social,political and economic development of our beloved country in the post 2010 epoch. I believe we have realized many successes and quite a few challenges. Going forward, I urge the entire country to consolidate on the gains of the 2010 constitutional and rededicate themselves to adress any festering challenges.
I thank the people of Kiminini for their abiding confidence in me.
I thank my dedicated staff who worked long hours to enable me discharge my heavy responsibilities in the National Assembly. We have been able to move several Bills,motions and petitions.
I thank the members of the House leadership, Led by Hon. Justin Muturi, whose cooperation made my tenure in office enjoyable.
Going forward I will purpose to rededicate myself to my role as the Member for Kiminini. Service to my constituents ,and the people of Transnzoia at large, has always been my passion.
Even as I the transition , I am buffeted by the words of William Shakespeare:- All the world is a stage,
And all the men and women merely players;
They have their exits . their entrances,
And one man in his time plays many parts.I once again reaffirm my support for President Uhuru Kenyatta and the Rt. Hon. Raila Odinga in their quest to unite the country.
I thank you most sincerely. God bless Kenya.
