BUNGOMA COUNTY TERMINATES HEALTH WORKER’S CONTRACTS
In a letter dated yesterday 2nd Mar 2020… The County Secretary’s office declared that the workers contracts stand terminated as of at 30th April 2020

🔹The National govt need to employ more health workers on Universal health care to fill shortage gaps while Our county is in the process of terminating contracted staffs???🙄
🔹UNLESS you will re-hire them at the beginning of May… This is a huge mistake
▪️It’d have been prudent to extend their contracts by Atleast one or two months
▪️This govt should NOT prioritize the employment of Village admins aka Ford Kenya campaign machinery over health workers… The later is crucial in these #COVID19 times
🔹Bwana Governor Wangamati please put your priorities right… Put your human face on the forefront. Think about how Bungoma people are going to sail thru this #COVID19 pandemic.
