Last week in company of Micah Wanyenje we visited Lifecare Hospital with a view of:
- Checking our #COVID19 status
- Seek for permission to shoot his CORONA song video
- Assessing the institution’s #COVID19 preparedness
This is how prepared they are??
DOUBLE LEVEL: 1. Tent
2. Isolation
1️⃣. Right from the entrance with tight security who know no status to the INFORMATION/SCREENING TENT where:
▪️Patients/visitors are sanitized
▪️Patients/visitors are registered
▪️Their temperatures taken and recorded
▪️Patients/visitors are sensitized on #COVID19
2️⃣. A SUSPECTED patient is put in the ISOLATION ward PENDING treatment in govt facilities

? My views: This facility is WELL prepared to handle this pandemic upto the ISOLATION point…
?At the SCREENING point the gadget first recorded my temp as 42°c, then after about 10 seconds a second test indicated 38°c, then finally it recorded 36.4°c…
▪️ MY POINT: Don’t panic like I did Whenever your first reading is high(beyond 37°c)… Kutembea kwa Jua can exaggerate your body temp… Just relax and redo your test?
