MBAKALO POLICE STATION.SUBJECT SUICIDE/ARSON REPORT.
Ref. OB 04/18/02/2022 at 7:20hrs where it was reported by one David Wanyama Barasa of Tel no. 0789743366 a caretaker to the deceased at Kabuyefwe location MR XR 273867 about 6Kms South of the station that he heard the deceased Mr. Benson Nyongesa Wasike a retired Police County Commander Kitui County who retired in the year 2019 who was living alone after a domestic dispute with his wife Mrs. Beritha Kilui Wasike in his home shouting fire, fire, in his main house.
He rushed inside the house and saw the fire was burning his private room. With the assistance of members of the Public, they rescued him and rushed him to Naitiri subcounty hospital while in unconscious state where he was pronounced dead on arrival with a white substances appearing on his mouth. The house was completely burnt down although a few items were salvaged. Police officers rushed to the scene and necessary action taken. The body was transferred to Kiminini Cottage hospital’s mortuary awaiting postmortem.
