Speaking to Bashir, a security aide to Kabuchai MP Hon. Majimbo Kalasinga, Bungoma County Director of Logistics Mr. Simiyu Mutaki has send a stun warning to the MP promising a bruising battle in the coming days. Mutaki who claims to be able to deliver a gun battle if need be stopped short of saying he is eying the MPs wife just to provoke a fight.
The logistics director escalated the threats further by promising the MPs security a beating if he stands in the way of any planned attack against the MP.

The conversation which lasted about five minutes captured Mutaki alleging the even if he is mentioned in violence in Bungoma, the CCIO and the County commissioner won’t have him arrested… a statement that has provoked Bungoma residents and civil society to demand for the redeployment of officers who take sides and therefore fail to execute their mandate especially in the recent violence.
This conversation happened days after another Wangamati’s keyboard warrior Mr. Peculiar Wafula threatened MCAs with beating in their own backyards. In his clip he indicated that it’s their work to discipline MCAs who are perceived to disrespect the governor by openly criticizing his administration. The man who forgot that he lives in Hon. Majimbo Okumu’s Khalaba backyard even went ahead to rubbish any possible arrest as a way of silencing them. He mentioned the following MCAs as future victims to their planned attacks; Lwandanyi MCA Hon. Tony Barasa, Ndivisi MCA Hon. Martin Pepela, Khalaba MCA Hon Majimbo Okumu, Tuuti/Marakaru MCA and Majority leader Hon. Juma Nyongesa and Musikoma MCA George Makari

Peculiar told the Speaker to the County Assembly of Bungoma that his days are numbered
On Saturday, 12 June 2021 morning a casket carrying a bloody goat’s head was discovered having been thrown over the fence into County Assembly of Bungoma Speaker Hon. Emmanuel Situma’s home. An incident that is suspected to have happened at night only to be discovered in the morning when they woke up. The Police led by OCS Munyoki visited the scene and investigations are underway although the speaker who away at the time is said not to be keen in pursuing the incident.
Peculiar also reminded Bungoma residents that violence has just started as declared by his boss Simiyu Mutaki. “Governor Must be respected… musichezee mtukufu rais wa kaunti…” concluded Peculiar
On Monday, 14 June 2021 evening Bungoma governor Wycliffe Wangamati recorded a statement on threat he issued to Jimmy Simiyu a journalist at Sulwe fm for posting a “negative” story about him. Earlier in the day media persons drawn from different stations operating within the county protested against the threat as they delivered petitions to the County Commissioner and the Assembly for action. Among their demands were action by Sulwe fm management against the editor who leaked the info for 3,100/= and a public apology from the governor failure to which they’d shun county functions.

- The County Criminal Investigations Officer Mr. Ondoro warned criminals from invoking his name and/or that of any of his officers, bosses included to scare their opponents. He indicated that he will pursue such allegations that soil peoples names as well us prosecute such threats as long as the victims report at the police station.
- Hon. Kalasinga indicated that he knows that Mutaki has no capacity to mount such attacks as those witnessed previously without full support of the governor and therefore insisted that he will stay focused on defending his Kabuchai people as well as his beliefs as they wait for the police to do their work. He concluded by confirming that by end of day today, his security detail would have reported the matter at the Police for further action.
