Bungoma governor Wycliffe Wangamati’s Communication Director Timothy Machi threats a freelance journalist and blogger Oti Oteba over a story.
Speaking to ikuweikuwe.com Oteba informed that Machi warned him against writing stories that portrays the County government in bad light.
“You have written a story that is not so nice and you will regret this, you will live to tell a story if you can’t stop it,”

In a Rejoinder Tim Machi forwarded a message he purportedly send to Oteba??
“I didn’t warn you. I just told you that from today, you are free to come to my functions but don’t call me thereafter asking for your “posho”. I will not run your household when all you do is write nonsense out of my functions.”
“That was my response. He can cry wolf but my position still stands. If that amounts to threats, so be it.” concluded Machi
