Three men have today Thursday 20th Feb 2025 evening been arrested at former Sacred College – Siritanyi premises following a tip-off from members of the public as their accomplices took off. Senior officials of the sugar miller indicated that there seem to a syndicate involving insiders that so far cost the company 4 tractors in total, hoping that the recovery of this one will lead to recovery of the remaining three.

Residents told Police that the suspects used a machines powered by gas to dismantle the tractor at night since Friday 14th Feb 2025 when the tractor was brought in.
The facility was closed years back and therefore has been abandoned making it easier for this act.
Police are looking for the owner of the cutting/welding equipment said to be an employee of a leading Supermarket in Bungoma
