KISIWA TTI STUDENT UNION ELECTION ELECTION CAMPAIGNS HALTED

This has been arrived at in a meeting convened by the Kisiwa Technical Training Institute (KTTI) Dean Mr Robert Sikuku who invited candidates for various positions for a church service and therefore the last opportunity to sell their various agenda.

The meeting was convened following a series of pre-election violence between groups aligned to Presidential candidates Kevin Buke and Mande Brian that saw students and outsiders injured. This violence threatened to derail the need to have good leadership by creating anarchy.

Resolutions:

The Dean indicates that it was therefore resolved that outsiders are the ones fueling violence and therefore no more campaigns will be conducted in and out of the institution from now. Students are expected to resume classes immediately until Tuesday 11th Feb 2025 when they’ll be expected to vote.

Outsiders have also been put on notice that severe consequences awaits anyone who’ll be involved in any vice during this time.

Mr. Sikuku, assures the community living around Kisiwa TTI that his students promise to maintain peace from now henceforth
