ikuweikuwe.com is reliably informed that students started making noise after noticing that Mandazi was missing for their 11am tea on 1st September 2024. Things later calmed down when the missing shopkeeper surfaced.
At one point that night, students starting chanting *”We want to go home”* while damaging school property as teachers stood in groups watching. They were later calmed down after their demand to watch football was met.
At about 6am today Sep 2, 2024 the library was set ablaze.
Three suspects were summoned and grilled by the school administration. One student who gave contradicting account of his whereabouts was handed over to Police
In a rejoinder:
- The Principal Mr. Enock Andaje indicated that students wanted to be allowed to go home, he was not for it saying that with exams around the corner and teachers strike likely to end soon… He asked that students stay put which they seemingly agreed adding that three were grilled but only one was handed over to Police for further investigation.
On the Mandazi issue he indicated that the shopkeeper is to blame adding that students do BUY escort for their 11am tea. The issue was resolved when the shopkeeper turned up later.
