“Wangamati Scholarship” Programme was initiated in 2018 purposed at elevating students from humble backgrounds through Bungoma County government sponsorship. Whereas the intention was noble its implementation was nevertheless skewed and therefore made its success impossible. From failure to honor promissory notes to issuance of threats to head teachers who send away defaulting beneficiaries and finally lack of good will from the incumbent governor.
