A Bungoma Court on Thursday 7th Dec 2023 slapped Eleven Shell petrol station -Sikata employees (at Noor cafe) with a Kshs. 5million bond or 2million cash bail each. They were arraigned in court on accusation of stealing Kshs. 30million from the station over a period of time.
Among the 11 is a granny in her 70s who is accused of handling stolen cash via her bank account.
ikuweikuwe.com has further learnt that the accused moved to a High Court on Friday 15th Dec 2023 which reviewed the penalty to Kshs. 350,000 or 1.2million bond each
